In the fall, we host rigorous education for our members and train them using a combination of lectures, homework, and actual modeling experience. We pride ourselves on taking a holistic view on investments and learning about all the other factors that could impact our investment aside from our calculation of intrinsic value.
More importantly, some of our members host an advanced finance curriculum for the entire Princeton student body. We believe in making our ideas public and transparent and this lecture series helps us give back to the Princeton community. Below is a list of the lectures and brief topics covered:

Lecture 1: Introduction to Finance (overview of financial landscape, buy-side vs. sell-side, big names in finance, resume/networking/application advice)
Lecture 2: Crash Course on Finance (extremely quick run through of major financial concepts in accounting, corporate finance, and valuation, supplemented by our own propietary textbook and homework assignments)
Lecture 3: What is a Hedge Fund? (overview of strategies such as L/S equities, relative value, cap structure arb, overview of why multi managers exist, activism, evaluating funds, and where alpha comes from)
Lecture 4: Fundamental Equity Strategies (what makes a great company great, margin of safety, activism, efficient markets, factors, CAPM)
Lecture 5: Debt and Private Equity Strategies (overview of niches such as RE, Infras, VC, Buyout, multiple expansion and sources of returns, pricing debt yields, investment grade and ratings)
Lecture 6: Macroeconomics (foreign exchange, interest rates, central bank, monetary policy, inflation, financial crises)
Lecture 7: Stuff No One Will Teach You (options, structured products, fixed income, forex, commodities, securitizations)
Lecture 8: Overview and Recap (how to choose your career, how to be professional in finance, risk return of career paths, compensation structures)
